we worked on mending to day. it is really a grate way to fix the things you love or add something new to something old. i think our society has kinda forgotten technique because it is just so easy now to go and get something new instead of fixing what you already have. theres already so much material waste in the world if we can keep some of our favorite clothing places from going in the land fill i think thats grate! now i look back there are definitely some clothes i wished i had saved by mending them. i will definitely be using mending in the future and doing my best to only get clothing i relay need and love. i think this could very well fit into my final project so i,m super excited by the ideas popping up in my head :).
